Snickers __

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Snickers, a beloved feline companion who left us on August 18, 2025, in Dothan. Snickers graced our lives for an incredible 17 years, sharing her home with her brother Ore and, most importantly, with her devoted pet parents, Shannon and Mike.

From the very first day they chose us, Snickers and Ore became a treasured part of our family. Snickers was truly exceptional; a spirit both independent and affectionate. There were moments when she would retreat into her own world, and then, in a flash, she would emerge enveloped in warmth, expressing her love and adoration in the most delightful ways. Whether it was curling up on a sunny windowsill or playfully batting at imaginary creatures, her presence brought an illuminating light to the household.

While she held an independent streak, in her loving moods, Snickers could melt the hardest of hearts. Her gentle purring and soft nuzzles were reminders of the bond that exists between a pet and their parent, creating memories that will forever warm Shannon and Mike's hearts.  We know that the reunion of Snickers and her brother Ore, who passed in 2021, will help soften the pain of this loss.  To know that these two who loved each other so, are once again together.

As we say goodbye to Snickers, we acknowledge the immeasurable joy and love she brought into our lives. Her absence leaves a void that will be felt deeply by all who knew her. Although she may no longer be with us in body, Snickers' spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who adored her. We are grateful for the years we had with her, and she will be missed greatly.
