Duff Norsworthy

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Duff Norsworthy. Born in November 2011, Duff shared his presence with us until his journey concluded on June 30, 2025. He was a unique spirit, embodying a delightful mix of grumpiness, love, and unwavering determination.

Throughout his life, Duff embraced the title of the family’s “grumpy old man” with pride. His little frowns often masked the vast affection he had for those around him. Over the years, he found joy in the companionship of other dogs, even though it sometimes came with the dreaded grooming sessions. The joy of neighborhood playdates far outweighed any temporary discomfort.

One of Duff’s most cherished activities was patrolling the yard, with his nose to the ground, searching for chipmunks and squirrels. This pursuit brought him untold joy and countless wagging tails. In fact, capturing a chipmunk remains one of his proudest accomplishments, a moment that glinted like a bright star in his otherwise sweetly grumpy demeanor.

Each day, Duff enriched our lives with his captivating personality. His playful antics and affectionate closeness filled our homes with laughter and warmth. Though we feel a profound void now that he is gone, it is softened by the beautiful memories we created together. We find solace knowing that Duff was, and always will be, our good boy. His loving spirit lives on in our hearts, reminding us of the joy and love that accompany even the grumpiest of souls.

As we reflect on the life of our beloved Duff, we recognize that his absence will be felt deeply. Our world is dimmer without his playful barks and loyal presence, and we can only imagine how much we will miss him in the days to come. The love we have for him is everlasting, and in our memories, he will always roam happily, sniffing the world around him as he takes his eternal walks.
