Axel Williams, affectionately known to those who loved him as the "Snapping Turtle," passed away on March 19, 2026, leaving a void that will be felt deeply by all who knew him. Though he was taken far too soon at only two and a half years old, the memories of his vibrant spirit and unique quirks will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his beloved family and friends.
Axel was a special soul, bursting with energy from dawn until dusk, never still for long, earning him the endearing nickname "Pacey." His endless pacing was a hallmark of his lively personality—a hyper, loving little being whose antics brought continuous smiles and laughter to those around him. His boundless affection was most evident in his deep love of butt pats, a simple pleasure that brought him immense joy and comfort.
Known as a bit of a food thief, Axel’s playful and mischievous side only added to his charm. But perhaps most uniquely endearing was his odd fascination with people's arm pits—if given the chance, he would eagerly jam his nose into anyone’s armpit, a quirky habit that only those who truly cherished him could appreciate. This peculiar affection earned him the affectionate moniker of "Snapping Turtle," a name that reflected both his spirited nature and his fondness for "corn cobbing" toes and arms in the most loving way.
Axel shared his world with his devoted family: Lisa and Kris, his doting dog moms, who showered him with love and care; Phoenix, his affectionate dog aunt; and Daygen, his protective dog uncle. He also wagged and played alongside his fur siblings, George and Nova, who were both companions and comrades in his daily adventures.
Though his time with us was heartbreakingly brief, Axel’s impact was immense. His hyper energy, loving heart, and unique personality left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to share in his life. He will be missed dearly—an irreplaceable presence whose memory will be loved for eternity.
Rest peacefully, dear Axel Williams. You were truly one of a kind, and your spirit will forever pace alongside us in the moments we hold closest.
